As we all know, sleeping, a good sleep, is essential for good health. Here are some principles which will help us to have a good night.
It is a matter of habits: >Make it a priority to get at least 7 hours of sleep every night.
>Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
>Make your bedroom dark, quiet, cool, and comfortable.
Keep in mind that what we drink or eat affects our night: 1/Skip caffeinated beverages within 6 to 8 hours of bedtime.
2/Don't smoke. Nicotine is a stimulant, which can keep you up.
3/Avoid eating big meals close to bedtime -- especially spicy foods, which may cause heartburn.
4/Stop drinking alcohol at least 3 hours before bed so it doesn't wake you up later 5/Finish eating two to three hours before going to bed.
Remember (and you need sleep to do this!), sleep is your friend. So, when it comes to learning and memory, sleep on it
