Endurance training has numerous health benefits, improved well-being, increased quality of life, lengthened lifespan, enhanced cognitive function, and the prevention and treatment of various diseases like diabetes, sarcopenia, osteoporosis, cancer(Mijwel et al.,2018).
Endurance training is increasing mitochondrial content, capillary density and various metabolic transporters .
These adaptations can largely be attributed to changes in gene activity and post-transitional protein modification in response to repeated exercise bouts (Chapman and Sundberg,2019)
